<![CDATA[Hi Greer,

Thankyou for the information....I have ordered a few books and been downloading off the internet but i've still a way to go yet....the hardest part, as I'm sure you found, is putting it all together!! I will check out the fabric website you recommended .... My main problem is that i am clueless about computers so I have an I.T. tutor coming over next week to show me how to use word and set pages up etc which will be a relief!... I think it's also the fact that we have other projects on the go at the same time that makes it all a bit too stressful and because it's all new and we all want to get it right.....

Anyway, I hope you have found your qualification helpful with finding work and i will keep checking your blog anyway from time to time and just say hi!

Best regards,

Nichola]]>

<![CDATA[Hi Nichola

Sorry fro the delay, I've only just figured out how to reply to comments!

We all found the curtains projects soul-destroying, but essential nonetheless. I used the Google image search and Wikipedia a hell of a lot.

Also found out that one of my fellow students emailed in her final project (the curtains part anyway), so that may be something to bear in mind.

As for the fabrics bit http://www.kingdominteriors.co.uk/ was a huge help, as they have nearly every fabric book in existence, and plus you don't even have to leave the house!

Hope all goes well, but if you need anything, please drop me an email at interiordesignstudent@gmail.com and then I can respond straight away.

Cheers

<![CDATA[Hi there,

I wonder if you could give me some advice please?!

I am currently studying at the KLC and have been handed the 'Notebook' assignement.... I have spent the day looking at images and gathering info although it is only day one and so my ideas are very scrambled at the mo!(Is this bringing back memories?!!) Our tutor says we can work together with other students and share images although I live out of London and this won't really be feasible for me, unfortunately. I was wondering if you could pass on some sites or shops or books or anything you found useful please.....if you don't mind that is!

Best regards,

Nichola]]>

<![CDATA[Lol, I had the exact same fustration! Your post brought back some great memories. People also comment on what a lovely home I must have, what they fail to see is that being educated in interior design means your tastes get more expensive and we need a lot more cash than we have to do our homes! Still saving for my Eames Chair and Ottoman!

Good Luck with the course! Interior Design involves a lot more course work than other courses!]]>
